The Wasser.Spiegel on the Mönchsberg

The WasserSpiegel is part of a mountain reservoir complex on the Mönchsberg, which, with a maximum capacity of 25,000 m³, is a central component of Salzburg’s supply of drinking water. The museum provides insights into the history and technology of the water system as well as the quality and origin of the water. Interactive stations, exhibits and a water tasting add to the fascination of your visit.

From the mountain station of the MönchsbergAufzug, a walk taking roughly 10 minutes will bring you to the WasserSpiegel (Mönchsberg 16b, in the direction of the Richterhöhe).
